Proud moment! A team of UTY Informatics students successfully claimed 2nd place at the National Hackathon 2026, held in Jakarta on September 20–22, 2026. The team, consisting of three 5th-semester students, managed to outperform hundreds of teams from universities across Indonesia.
They developed an application called “AgriSmart” — an AI-based platform that helps farmers monitor soil conditions and weather in real time. This innovation was deemed highly relevant to Indonesia’s current agricultural needs.
“We never expected to get this far. The support from Himatika UTY and our supervisors meant a great deal to us,” said the team leader.
